If he stays in the game too long...or fights too many Mike Alvarado's then ya for sure....but honestly he has much better defense then most people give him credit for.....also if you look at his trapz they are built as ****. George cuvalo is in his mid 70s and still talks fine. No one took more punches then him but he trained to take punches and never got badly hurt in the ring....you never know how these things work out....just look at pernell...

Roy Jones mentioned beating a southpaw, who was fighting only to survive, by injuring him. He wasn't talking about Eric Harding, was he?

No , that's not what I mean. Setting up an offense means using a jab, throwing a simple 1-2 or some combinations. This isn't that complicated. Donaire looks clueless when he has to initiate the offense. That's why he's looked unimpressive in his last several fights. That's why he's letting his opponents get back into the fight because he can't break them down. He's a talented guy, with some high level skills, but he needs to bring it down a notch or two. He's trying to be Roy Jones Jr in there when the situation doesn't call for it.

Did you watch this fight? Nonito dismantled a counter puncher. You do realize there is a risk opening up too much against a counter puncher don't you? This is why a Rigo fight is not good business for Nonito. I doubt Rigo would be 'first' more than a couple of times all fight.

You call that a dismantling? That was Donaire waiting around for six rounds for that one shot, and finally landing it. Nishioka was doing absolutely nothing. This has been a consistent problem in donaire, he doesnt know how to settle down and box.

No he does not. Don't be fooled by his high post count. That is irrelevant

Going into this fight people were saying that this would be Donaire's toughest test. He didn't give Nishioka a chance to do anything. He worked him until he could open him up like an oyster and take the pearl but you can't see this for some reason. Nonito came in focused and simply dominated. Not sure what glasses you were watching that fight through but I suggest you go back and watch it again.

So, we can view your relatively high post count as being irrelevant, too, then...

It's not his post count, you should read his posts sometime. The man clearly knows what he's talking about. It's just a internet forum, but credit should be given where due, also hating doesn't have to be applied to every fighter and poster. It is okay to be civil.

Might not be a bad idea, I'll wait and see though. I've added quite a few names to the list lately, so I don't want to jump the gun just yet.

I get annoyed at so called 'hard core' boxing fans that still don't see just how good Nonito is. I'm sure this child already has 100 posts tonight about Nonito ducking Rigo. That's getting a little old too and driven by the Cuban sympathizers on this site. All the Cubans are supposed to get a free pass and move to the front of the line cuz their just all so talented, like that Fat Ass Solis that buckled under his own weight and blew out his knee against Vitali. You do know that Fat Ass was winning until that point, right? :rofl
