Hoo wee! Helluva fight! I picked Alvarado, but knew this one too close to call. Mike bigger power, Rios better chin, more active, more consistent, but Mike ended up fighting Rios fight which is similar, but not the same as Alvarados. Great win for Rios, Mike was wrapping his hands on Rios head, but he was in bad shape. Not a good stoppage, but its justifiable.

These past couple of fights with Nonito haven't been his fault I blame his opponents not him. Reluctant to fight him.

Brandon was laughing & telling Garcia how much he loved this type of fight during the in-between RDs.

    Dude is nuts.
    Enjoy Brandin while you can.
    (it won't last long)

    What could be so pressing?

I was up in the middle of North Bum**** in the mountains using spotty motel hotspot Wi-Fi and still made damn sure to catch this show. :bart

True, post count has no relevance when determining one's boxing acumen.

Then, neither should whether someone calls Odlanier Solis a fat lazy piece of **** (which he is) who never proved a damn thing in the pros (which he didn't) or that Richard Abril is ****ing atrocious to watch and 10x worse than John Ruiz and Carlos Molina combined (which he most certainly is) or that Despaigne and all the Barthelemys suck (they do, to a man)

You've had your mind firmly made up about me ever since realizing I don't automatically put all of Fidel's current or former subjects on a pedestal just by virtue of nationality. ;)

Let alone that I have utmost respect for their amateur program and some of my modern and all-time faves hail from that selfsame archipelago. (Cepillo, Gamboa, L-Rod...) Apparently that isn't enough for old realdeal561. Unless you like to wrap your lips around the cigaro of every active countryman of his, you DKSAB in his world. :conf

When I have ever said that Nonito isn't good? He's super good! That's why I want to see him fighting rigondeaux who I believe is the best fight to watch at 122.
All the anticuban bull****, I just wipe my ass with it.

...with your bare hand, right? :hey

    Sorry, couldn't resist. :yep

You are far more reasonable discussing Cuban boxers without bias than rd561. :good

I wasn't referring to you but the poster on top of this page, suddenly is a barrage of dislike for Cuban boxers.Like in any country we have good and no so good boxers.

The poster at the top of the page is getting tired of being attacked by Cuban sympathizers for his trying to be objective. I think even you have crossed the line with your thread about Nonito ducking Rigo. I think it is quite clear that Arum wants to keep Rigo undefeated for when Nonito moves up, and personally, I think Nonito beats Rigo quite handily. Nonito is as under rated on this forum as Rigo is over rated. Let's face it. There is a lot of feeling from 'certain people' on this forum that Cubans should get a free pass to the front of the line when it comes to fight scheduling. I don't care what they did in the am's. They have to earn their stripes as pro's. Just because Arum got Rigo a quick belt doesn't mean much. Same as Canelo fighting cans doesn't help his case.
