Broner would be so much better if he trained with the Mayweather camp, either Roger or Sr

    Round 2

Rodriguez is diving in with lead rights thrown while slouched over, soaring in at about chest level for Broner. Easy step backs and quick counters by Broner, almost playing around. Kellerman asks Jones to explain to the audience what a check hook is after Jones calls one thrown by Broner. (it's a short counter hook thrown while pivoting away from a clumsy attack). Rodriguez bangs away at Broner's left hip with his right hand and tries to pound a hole through his middle. Broner seems unperturbed. Broner just slides his feet back and pops the jab along with some swatting hooks out of the arm-injured-in-a-sling stance while backing up. Bob Papa says he'd rather be Rodriguez at the end of this second round, applying Kellerman's scoring logic of "who would you rather be?".

I disagree. Broner still outboxed his man, although he didn't look spectacular doing so. Rodriguez hit little but hip bone with his right hands and otherwise got blocked when going high.

    20-18 Broner

I think Rodriguez took it, some shoulder rolling from Broner. Not nearly as good though as Mayweather's :D

Broner backing up too much in the 2nd. Gave it to Rod based on his aggression.

    19-19 even.
