    Not even close. Ruiz has victories over a bunch of good fighters (e.g. Cristobal Cruz, and Jorge Lacierva). He took Steve Molitor to a split decision at Casino Rama a couple of years back, and is precisely the type of guy who can give a prospect a lot of trouble if he's lacking substance.

    This result says more about what Russell is than about Ruiz isn't as a fighter. :deal
