HBO BAD: Saul Alvarez vs. Kermit Cintron & Adrien Broner vs. Vicente Rodriguez RBR

Saying he didn't always sit down on his shots against some of those early opponents isn't speculation. It was plain to see. He was quite content quite often back in the Telefutura & Fight Night Club days to coast, get rounds, and win on points.

Please name an instance where he was visibly trying in earnest to stop someone and "struggling".

I saw that there was power there early on. Obviously the speed is his meal ticket, but there was always power. I saw it. Apparently you didn't. :conf Maybe you only saw his decision wins, or nights where he was boxing in a more relaxed and passive mood?

I mean, we basically agree. He is improving, and is making more of a concerted effort to turn shots over now. That doesn't mean he never had any natural pop before, or that there weren't signs of it in his more aggressive moments.

Why the **** aren't they showing whatever is on in Mexico City right now?

From the end of the Russell bout until the start of Broner vs. Rodriguez, that will have been like fifty minutes. Plenty of time to show one or even two undercard bouts from Mexico City (where BN obviously has a camera crew anyway, if they're covering Canelo vs. Cintron).
