    In fact, not going for Jones was colossally stupid in hindsight. Huge money and guaranteed win that would've added to his legacy on paper (just a little) more than it had any right to.

    :thumbsup:Agree, and IIRC Kellerman was actually making the same argument for Herrera being FOTY as well in the latter rounds of the Benavidez fight.

    Although maybe I should have prefaced my original point with cherry picks that ended up being apocalyptic misfires.:lol:

    At least you and I and quite a few other people knew who Herrera was fairly well, he'd been on TV quite a few times, unlike Joe, its a pity I held off posting on here until May of 2014, the Garcia-Herrera match is what convinced me to start, I predicted Herrera would give Garcia a ton of problems, beat him and get robbed, and then that Fonfara would give Stevenson problems...... and I couldn't brag about it. :sisi1

    But I made up for it by predicting that Algieri had a really good chance at upsetting Ruslan.
