Every time Lemieux has ever stepped up he's lost. Seems like these Canadian fighters are fed good behind their fence before they have to go graze outside of the fence and they have no defense when a predator comes along.

I let myself be swayed by too much garbage on the interwebs. After Lemieux's last fight I said he couldn't box and wouldn't find Saunders, I can't believed I changed my take recently and picked Lemieux.

 

this should be a shut out. very impressive from BJS.

 

I still take triple G to beat this scrub

 

Lemieux did land a good right somewhere in there up close. Best punch he's landed in 10 rounds probably. Didn't affect BJS at all.

 

Lemieux is just a puncher while GGG is a puncher-boxer. There is a huge gulf in class between the two. Plus GGG is less predictable than Lemieux, Lemieux doesn't really mix up his punches at all.

 

Round 9

Saunders is dancing around, nullifying the action. Lemieux not making him pay for taking a round off. Lemieux just tentatively shuffling in and lumping out a slow jab in the air. Saunders reaching over Lemieux's arms to lightly tag him with the southpaw jab and floating on an invisible cushion of air to keep rotating him in the middle of the ring. Saunders occasionally substituting the jab for a long lead left.
