The best BJS I'd seen prior to tonight was when he boxed at welterweight in the amateurs. I only saw him box a couple of times in the amateurs but he seriously impressed me in one of those fights. Like Fury he was lazy and needed a big kick up his ass.

    None of this matters.

I personally scored it 10-2 (11-1 or 9-3 at a stretch), but that's not the crux of my argument.

If a British judge who is very experienced can score it 10-2, then, unless he is somehow corrupt (and what sense would that make, given the final outcome here), then clearly, he can in his mind, state that ARGUABLY, Lemieux won two rounds.

Your take or my take on the actual score, doesn't affect what I'm saying here.

You do realize that scoring is a subjective enterprise, and we call upon experts to render the decisions that form the record.

Yes, there are poor scores that seem off from time to time, but it is pretty clear that AN ARGUMENT CAN BE MADE BY A PROFESSIONAL JUDGE that Lemieux took a round or two.

When you say that..."I (IB)don't see a reasonable argument for giving Lemieux a round".... that DOES NOT MEAN that a reasonable argument cannot be made.

So we're left with two possible conclusions:

    1) You are arrogant beyond measure in your estimation of your scoring judgment.

    or

    2) You still haven't grasped the meaning of ARGUABLE.

I'm in the top percentile of boxing scoring judgment in the world, cuch, and I'd say mine is better than a majority of pro judges. If you call that arrogant, fine.

    I'm arguably right, tho. ;)

Hooking up with Ingle and basing himself over in Sheffield was the best decision he's made as a pro. They don't mess about down there they take training and getting into shape very seriously. Look at the physique on Kell Brook and the physical transformation BJS has gone through since he hooked up with them. How many times did he fade late in fights before he moved down there?

Well Lara and Golovkin both beat him in my opinion, I think Oscar must have learnt his lesson by now because it will catch up with them, Byrd can't score every fight.
