HBO broadcast said munguia was looking like a "peak de la hoya" last night

Once mighty HBO been rock bottom for awhile now

 

Smith weighed in that high on purpose to try and negate the massive advantage he knew Munguia was going to have. He should never have been that high and you can see it looking at him...and at the same time its obvious that Munguia should be in a higher weight class. And Smith still made Munguia look like an amateur for a lot of the first half of the fight. If a GGG or Alvarez fought Munguia he'd be rollin around on the canvas in the first round or so wondering where the hell he was.

Also shove this STOP nonsense up your ass.

 

When you look at the antics Oscar has been getting up to since retiring its kinda hard to remember him as a pretty good fighter

 

Yeah it was said because of the way munguia was bouncing for sure which was very reminiscent of a prime Roberto Alcazar trained De La Hoya. It was very coincidental.

 

HBO largely sucks. They can't get much of anything right the last half-decade.

 

He is no where near fernando vargas,
Vargas was a sound technichian & an intelligent fighter. This kid is ferocious & thats it.

 

If he can make the weight without illegal substances and he’s isn’t putting himself in danger, GET OVER IT

Now it’s Smith weighed in higher on purpose and shouldn’t have

Mungia was in there looking like someone who will get decapitated by Charlo, worn down and stopped by Hurd, and outboxed by Williams.

 

One thing I'm sure of about this kid, this fight changing power business is bull****. He hits hard for sure but he's also as big as a LHW. Someone that big fighting a smallish JMW who we already knew had a glass chin, of course he was gonna like like a 1 shot KO artist. I can also tell you, from what I saw if Munguia didn't have that size and Smith had just a tad of real power in his gloves and he would have knocked Munguia out by the 8th round. He will eventually fight someone with real power that can take advantage of his nonexistent defense and it will be lights out for what appears to be right now a pretty clear hype job.
