    I am gonna take it a step further... I will cut off my hand in protest...will send the video to HBO...tell them "see what youve done!!!!"

    maybe aim for espn2 first ....... it would beat flying all over bum **** across the world to beat up someone just to pad the record

    But the point is that, between the two, Mesi had proven himself against the higher caliber fighters. Mesi had beaten a series of credible fringe contenders in Bert Cooper (who was still fairly young), Jorge Luis Gonzalez, and Robert Davis. After that, he stepped up to KO top-25 TOS Williamson, then won decisions (if controversial) against top-20 Monte Barrett and top-25 Vasili Jirov.

    Chauncy needs to penetrate that level of competition in order to open doors at HBO, I think.
