Out of curiousity, why do so many people accuse Merchant of being racist?

I've seen it on other threads along with this one, and I've never understood where this idea comes from. I've watched a fair amount of fights, and I've never even entertained the idea of racism from Merchant. I'm genuinely confused as to why people are accusing him of this...surely it's not just because he dislikes Floyd?
