    were horrendous. Lampley seems to think compubox numbers are gospal to how a fights going. Merchant just seems to be worried about getting his analogy of the round out each night. I worry he is going to have a heart attack on air every time I watch.

    I have to agree that IMO they didn't lend themselves to a wonderful fight. As if it was like ''oh it's on World Championship Boxing....not HBO PPV...lets save our selves for that''. I wanted to hear the emotions that you normally get from the 3 men but it was rather reserved and Lampley's nuthugging of compubox stats that to me mean **** all was a joke. Also the Lampley was rather biased towards Juan although it was a beautiful display..he rarely praised Kats who really did fight well.

    I agree, Lampley and Merchant were being especially cringeworthy last night, its got to a point where they play caricatures of themselves, like they do it on purpose to wind people up by saying silly outlandish ****

    they just need to realise people are watching to see the fight and not hear them.

    I don't really listen to commentators. Prefer foreign language broadcasts usually.

    Katsidis Interview from 5:00 on wards.

    What made me sad was when Michael kinda smiled..but it was a hurt smile when he said ''hopefully one day i can unify the division''. I actually found Lampley the worst last night and after the interview i don't see why he has to state that Stathi was a Australian jockey. He's Michael's brother whether he's a brick layer or a jockey.

    Lederman is terrible at scoring fights. Giving Trinidad the first round against Hopkins says all you need to know about his perceptive abilities. He's a shill that is desperate to give rounds to the commercial fighter.

    I heard his scorecard for Alexander-Kotelnik was shockingly bad and a sackable offence. :lol:

    The worst thing is, the Litzau fight beforehand showed how meaningless the Compubox statistics can be.
