Ummm, firstly, I'm pretty sure a jew can't be a Klansman.

Secondly, Kellerman racist? Kellerman's the biggest nuthugger of black fighters in history and that's known by all.

    He worships Whitaker and Roy.

Really, not so good at 140. How do you figure, he's now had 2 fights at 140, and has 2 ko's....

Crawford is a good fighter but nothing great.

His resume is lacking for a 2 weight world champion and he reeks of American hype.:yep

Look at the two fighters hes faced. The 140 belt was a given for him and then he faces Jean who is nothing spectacular.

You heard it from me a long time ago, Crawford is overrated, he's not a 'special' fighter. He's definitely a good boxer though. I would comment that even cleaning out this underwhelming 140lb division is nothing special, either.

I haven't seen the Dierry Jean fight yet, but my guess is that Crawford got hit by way more power shots than he needed to.

HBO is a marketing machine that pushes their fighters forward, their goal is profits.

Just think about that for a sec, about 50% of what Lampley says is puffery, and it all will start making sense

This is the answer. It does get tiresome to real fans though. However the casual fan tunes in and heard them drooling over a guy and comparing him to Hagler they're likely to stay and watch and then watch his next fight. Crawford is clearly being overhyped. Triple G too. If that's possible.

Crawford has the thing you can't teach, it comes from that place deep within only a few can access it. I access it in my on line of work so i recognize it. Its something that you have to experience to know, .there are lots of other great fighters that don't have it. some access it periodically but some access it pretty much at will its a rare few that do, Crawford is one who does,

Kellerman is always comparing fighters to fighters of yesteryear.

I'm suprised he doesn't refer to himself as a young Larry Merchant.

They've always been like that. But you know what I noticed lately? I think they aren't really trying to get all the best boxers anymore. They are only trying to get the most exciting boxers. Their brand is action fights and KOs now. They let Mayweather, Rigondeaux, and Lara go, but they kept Pacquiao, Kovalev, GGG, Donaire, and Gonzalez. They lured Klitschko back, lured Alvarez and Matthysse over, tried to make Provodnikov a star. It makes me wonder why they haven't tried to get Lebedev or why they let Beterbiev get away. Bradley and Ward kind of **** up my thesis though.
