HBO completely disrespected Lennox Lewis

Bernard Hopkins, lol. The man is an uneducated street-thug who can't speak properly on most occasions. "My feets is cold". With that gap tooth and ugly mug he is as disturbing to look at as he is to listen to with his suburban-frightening ebonics.

 

I don't think they forced him out. I read that they just didn't renew his contract.

 

I wouldn't mind Floyd Sr as commentator. It would really be entertainment at its best.

 

Floyd sr would be entertaining...but he would be droning on ..and trying to finish a sentence about what had transpired in the ring 15 seconds ago.

 

You just want to hear predator talk!!

 

hopkins would be good... i like him on friday night fights.

or trade with showtime...we'll take tarver they can take lennox..

Tarver has vastly improved and seems to show enthusiasm

 

Tarver>lewis

 

Lewis sucked at what he was doing. However his insight to the fight was what I enjoyed. for that reason I liked him on HBO.

 

Lennox was brutal....next they need to rid of vodka breath merchant that senile old ****. then kellerman. god the HBO crew sucks.

He wasn't that good at announcing, he was consistently under prepared for the fights he did cover. He also wasn't opinionated enough at time. People can say whatever they want about Atlas, at least he is interesting.

 

Lennox was alright, but he did lack the charisma. Even ol' Larry Merchant had more charisma than him. Abit too quiet. He needed to get some pointers from Harold Lederman. That guy is good at coming out from nowhere and waking you up when a fight is a snoozefest. He has that shrieky irritating voice, but it gets everyone's attention. Larry Holmes used to do it back in the day and he did a good job. RJ would be great.

 

He sucked as a commentator, In all the years his been in HBO I've made about 6 threads wondering why HBO still had him in there. Im glad they let him, Lets see who they bring in now, Hopefully it will be Foreman or Jones Jr... now they were great !

 

Although lewis was a great champ he was a stuttering muttering waste of oxygen as a commentator. and i wont miss him at all.
