    I see your point.
I'm all for upsets and Rocky type stories, but it'd be better for boxing if Pavlik wins.
Although I think he's somewhat of a hypejob waiting to be exposed (that sounds a bit too harsh), he is good for boxing, and he's taking on anyone who wants him.

It's hard not to support that.

He has his limitations but he's very effective at what he does. If there is anyone in the world who can spot someones weakness and exploit it...it is Nard.

I think Pav is going to get a rude shock at how much power and strength Bernard has.

I will seriously put a large shunt on Calzaghe over Pavlik when it happens , im saving for a bike , Joe's last fight will either earn me a new BMW K1200 R or will get battered and i will have to pospone my trip around Europe for another two years :-(

True Teke , anyone predicting a walkover for kelly here ain't in touch with reality , certain fights we can predict with 100 % confidence as was the case with Tarver / Dawson fight last weekend but this ain't one of them , if Hopkins pulls off the shock i will retract everything bad i have said about him recently :deal

I totally agree with this. As with Hopkins fights with Taylor and Calzaghe, Pavlik will outwork him over 12 rds. It's not that these fighters are better boxers than Hopkins, it just boils down to the fact that at 43 yrs old he can't do enough to win 7 out of 12 rds.

Bhop is as cunning as a shithouse rat, no way will he get stopped but he will feel pavliks power & turn this into a hugfest & lose a close decision he reckons he deserved to win. Thats the ol bhop blueprint now for big fights.
