What exactly does 'blew his back out' mean? Has Pirog's injury been legitimately verified?

It was one of the very first US cards i'd seen live, as I didn't want to risk anyone spoiling the Ward v Kovalev result before i coult watch it.....I couldn't believe it.

    Malignaggi's acceptance annoyed me aswell.

Now, i understand that Sky/HBO will tow the line of their fighters, it's their job....They're almost a 'promoter' themselves in the modern age....

But to clearly call Perez the winner, then happily accept the fact that the corruption exists, is why the sport is in such a mess.

There was a US guy i had an argument with on here last week who pretty much claimed that a bad decision 'wasn't as bad in a smaller fight'.......This is where it is the worst!

Once you have the roots of corruption in place, where does it end?
Hooker v Perez? "Never mind, it always happens with smaller fights".
GGG v Canelo? "Well, at least we get to see it again".

Would you mind leading an investigation into Pirog's disappearance ?

I think he'd beat everyone at 147...But only if they moved to 154.

Brook can't be the same fighter he once was there, he's been draining for far too long.

Horribly biased commentary and 2 of the judges scorecards aside, that was a quality fight and both Jacobs and Sulecki put on a good show for the fans and were classy in and out of the ring.

No question about it, Brook 2.0 at 154 smashes every 147 and 154 pounder at 154, sans maybe Khan 2.0 who is a Matrix fighter with a new and improved bionic right hand.

Well said. Close fight. Exciting fight. Two classy competitors. Sulecki impressed. Jacobs impressed.

    Which commentary did you have?

    Sky were better than usual.

They had it fairly close, before giving Jacobs the 11th and the KD in the 12th.

They said Sulecki deserved a lot of credit, and he shouldn't have trouble finding future opponents......

I think they meant he wouldn't have trouble 'competing', he's hardly going to be the first choice for a voluntary.

via Wikipedia, Pirog was stripped of his titles in 2012 for agreeing to fight Golovkin instead of N'Dam. he then suffered a ruptured disc in training and subsequently retired after a few failed comeback attempts.

Well he can't crack Jacobs egg chin so he won't have that much trouble finding opponents, easy man to rob really.
