I've said this before, but Spence is the American Brook.....who has the huge advantage of being in the right place at the right time.

I said before their fight that should Spence beat Brook, Thurman will avoid Spence just like he did with Brook...and it was proved to be the case.

Thurman was happy to take $2,000,000 against Garcia, but wouldn't take a higher purse against Brook.

Sulecki outboxed Jacobs for long portions of the fight but the difference in power was important Jacobs took some rounds because his shots were much more effective he also shoe shined the body a few times nicely.
Credit to Sulecki he was the smaller and quicker man and he came to win. That is a quality win for Jacobs. He also looked a little vulnerable.

 

i am okay. can still make a living. the six months around the surgery were hell though. at 51 i wasn't going to be playing contact sports anymore anyways. quit just before i turned forty.

The thing is GGG is actually easy to look good against as a boxer.......It's just when he lands that you have huge issues.

His lack of head movement and defence make him very easy to hit, so winning rounds from pure boxing isn't too much of a problem.

 

take away his power and that description of him sounds like Jarrell Miller.

The problem with RJJ is that he seems to either make a very good point, or a completely ridiculous one, there's no middle ground.

 

First time i've seen Miller tonight, and I wasn't impressed.

By the comments on here, and the ridiculous weight increase, it doesn't sound as though he's improving.

He needs to get his act together....

Joshua is showing he can fight lighter and is quicker than Parker.....
And Whyte is improving his conditioning and his fundamentals like his jab.....

Miller is the 2nd best Heavyweight in the US, don't waste that talent!

 

Nah I dont see it based on this performance. GGG knocks him out in the rematch.

 

Try to imagine what a possible GGG vs Pirog reality would do to confidence.

 

HBO and Sky are both poor with the Bias stuff, but they're equally annoying for total opposite reasons.

HBO are far too opinionated, especially their summarisers who think they're ex professionals.....

Sky have too little opinion, "It's a case of what you like" every other fight.
