114/115 1 point win for Sulecki

Cant see how posters didnt score 6, 7, 8 for Sulecki

Have scored round 12 10/8 but agree with another poster that 10/9 is fair as other than the KD Sulecki looked to me to be winning the rest of the round but have left it as is and scored for Sulecki

I picked for Sulecki just based on a feeling and it wasnt wrong

Whilst I didn’t have him winning, I can’t believe the scores of the judges, Sulecki could arguably have won or drawn that fight, it was that close and the knock down at the end won for Jacobs on my card. Only person that was fair on the commentary booth was Kellerman, Jones was poor and Lederman is washed up.

I havent actually heard their commentary but have read it on here. I didnt rate the commentary I listened to and felt it sounded like they went in watching a ready known opinion. That is only my opinion though and counts for little

Yeah they were really discrediting what Sulecki was doing except for Kellerman. At one points jones said if Sulecki lands 5 clean shots it will be erased by one of Danny’s. I hate that crap, 5 clean shots with decent power always beat 1 big punch unless that big punch drops the opposing fighter.

I had it 115-112 Jacobs. He took the last 4 rounds, that won him the fight from my point of view. Up until the 9th I had Sulecki ahead by 2 points. Sulecki really surprised me, if he had more punching power, Jacobs would be gone. Not impressed by his performance this time.

Just watched the fight, I think Jacobs is really feeling the weight cut now, he got his second wind but them middle rounds he really seeemed gassed and his feet looked heavier than I’ve ever seen.

TBH I can barely listen to Kellerman, he really is a rubbish commentator, his views are so contradictory they carry no weight.

It was a really good fight, I thought Jacobs did win but not by the margin the judges have it, I guess home town etc but yes he won. I really do like Roziers style as a trainer, very on the ball, precise & cool...good guy to have in your corner...if Jacobs had listened & gone to the body earlier & pressured a bit more like he was asked to do it may have ended earlier. Having said that I feel the reason Jacobs was not doing what Rozier was asking was because he had a very good boxer in front of him. Sulecki has only made his stock (IMO) go up with this fight.

Agreed, the main observation I had was how flat footed he looked compared to the Pole. He was literally trudging around the ring.

I think that’s where the 300 pounds and the big bones gets him it’s just too hard to get all that mass in position

Yes that's the fight I saw as well. Impressed by Sulecki but he wouldve had to do more to get a decision there.

I got really frustrated with the British commentary team who repeatedly talked over Rozier during the breaks. Every time I could hear him I was really impressed with his coaching. Very calm, good solid advice. One of the best corner performances I can think of.

I also thought Jacobs won the fight but it was only after the knock down that I was convinced. There were a lot of close rounds and some of it came down to which style you preferred.

I'm starting to think he should redo his gimmick to being the real life King Hippo

Brook 2.0, not the weight drained cadaver that was excavated from his grave in Sheffield General Cemetery and brought back from the dead that Carson Jones, Spence and all those other guys he fought at 146.

But I will concede I did get a tad carried away in my initial assessment when I said he beats everyone at 168 as I totally forgot about Benavidez who I readily admit would smash any version of Kell.
