Going to the airport in a taxi atm for an early flight so gonna miss these fights. First time I will be relying solely on the RBRs so do a good job my bruddas.

    Enjoy the fights.

    Johann Duhaupas

How good is Joshua in your opinion, is he the best heavyweight out there right now?

J.D: “Joshua is full of confidence right now, and he feels he is the best. In terms of absolute self-confidence, he is the best. But I would really like to face him because I know I can embarrass him enormously.”

Wilder recently stated how you have given him the toughest fight of his pro career so far. He stopped you in the eleventh-round in September of 2015 in a WBC title defence – do you still want a return with him?

J.D: “Of course, and why not if the opportunity arose for me? But this is not my main objective. I want to face [Manuel] Charr (in what would be a rematch; Duhaupas winning a close decision over Charr in 2015), Anthony Joshua or Povetkin next, after I beat Miller.”

Gotta respect Duhaupas he's the only fighter I've heard call out Diamond Boy. Huge set of plums on that boy.

Well that is tragic and I wish them the best.

I definitely thought it was some Black Panther reference.

    Round 1

Duhaupas is pawing a jab out at Miller from mid-range. Duhaupas jogging away, then snapping a turn away from the ropes, nearly as if he forgot they existed and was startled to discover them encroaching upon his rear. Duhaupas is circling around the ring a bit clumsily, getting tooled over by combos from body to head with Miller ducking & straightening while pitching forward to peck at him. Duhaupas is getting worked now, just shelling up and taking it. Miller lands a pair of big right hands. Duhaupas is grazed by another clubbing right but is able to lift his left arm partially in the way to block. Double jab into the gloves and shoveling right on the body from Duhaupas, just doing busy work to keep Miller from attacking.

10-9 Miller, almost 10-8 had that late dominance been sustained for longer.

    Jarrell Miller vs Johann Duhauaps
    R1: 10-9

Miller looks good here in the first round, using the jab to dictate, also moving solid with the upper body. Miller had Duhaupas at the ropes, then landed a couple of bigger shots later. Duhaupas has to move, if Miller has him at the ropes this is getting dangerous as he works to the body & head. Big right hand landed by Miller in the last minute, also some uppercuts, Miller very aggressive and Duhaupas too static. Good round from Miller overall who wins the round clearly.

    Round 1 Miller 10-9

All Jarrell, he even managed to shake up Johann with a few looping overhand rights late.
