There's a ton of Taylor/Pavlik talk and rightfully so but the entire HBO card this evening was something to watch. Berto came out strong and showed why he's been consistently rated as one of the top prospects this past year. His defense was a lil' sloppy (no sloppier than Pavlik's or Taylor's) but he showed excellent combination punching along with overwhelming power. Estrada was game and took a king-sized beating. This bout was exciting from beginning to end and could have easily headlined a card itself. Then this was followed by the JT/KP fight. Awesome. It was a great "free" evening of boxing where all four parties involved came in to mix it up. My hat goes off to all four of them and kudos to HBO for delivering to fight fans what they wanna see - good fights. Now if they could only do this on a regular basis. :happy
Weird, us Brits got to see Witherspoon. Seriously though - why would you want to see him? He isn't going to take over the division.
