Economics aside, I don't think Geale, Murray, or Lee would offer as much resistance as Kirkland (assuming he's able to last long enough to warm which is when he becomes pretty durable). Rubio and N'Dam yes, but the other three I feel offer little in offensive ability to contend with Golovkin.

Kirkland could give GGG a fight similar to Ouma if he gets out of the first 2-3 rounds. Additionally, if Kirkland were to accept the fight he's in bargaining position not only for a good pay day and guaranteed future HBO fights, but also to bring Gennady down in weight. Golovkin had intended to fight Rosado at 158, I assume he'd be willing to let a big name like Kirkland to meet at 157 if not 155?

So Murray is the top contender for the title and is fighting in Monaco on the Golovkin card and HBO wants Kirkland? Gee, is not like Murray has never fought on HBO and even his lose was much better then the way Kirklands lose.

Funny guy. Actually there's a kid (late teens) who dances all day at the corner of Mapleview and Bryne in Barrie, he's got a "SALE!" sign strapped to his torso. Dances non-stop to get people into this golf equipment store that competes with GolfTown. He's hilarious to watch, especially considering it's -15 deg outside.

@Eastcoast - good point on the weight going down vs Kirkland (as a possibility)... it's too bad GBP/SHO hold most of the cards at 154 though, in the long run it makes more sense for Golovkin to go up to get to Chavez Jr, retiring-Froch and about-to-move-up-Ward.

Curt Stevens knocks Kirkland out in one round. Ann Wolf would give both Stevens and GGG a better go. He was ready to quit after the first round with Glen Tapia, except Ann Wolf was ready to stick a hose up his ass if he didnt go out for the 2nd. Everyone in the top 10 beats him. Most knock him out. Dont go there with GGG. Kirklands ******* is big enough.

I really want to see GGG loose but I want to see Kirkland get his face punched in more, especially after that the last fight when he kept throwing seeing the man out cold.

Gennady would be too sharp and too big for Kirkland.

I root for both fighters, and I think Mandingo Warrior belongs at 154. The things that make Kirkland a force will disappear if he climbs to middleweight. Not only that, but Golovkin is by most accounts the best middleweight right now and is already being flouted about at 168 by some. Not really an ideal weight-up fight for Kirkland.

Anne Wolfe with a strap-on in a locked room is scarier than Triple G.

Ann Wolfe in general is intimidating as ****. A strap-on just makes it even worse.
