When was the last time HBO, without Haye, showed a Wlad fight? They have even admitted they wouldn't be showing Wlad if he wasn't fighting Haye.

I remember when Haye was going to fight Rahman after moving to heavyweight and idiot Klitschko fans were complaining about how bad opponent Haye picked. Then Haye goes on to fight Barrett and Wlad chooses to fight Rahman and now Klitschko fans rave about how dangerous opponent Rahman is. :dead

 

Can you not see the difference between fighting with a broken hand against a guy who outweighs you by nearly 100lbs, is almost a foot taller and has never been knocked down or severely hurt, and against fighting someone who is a lot smaller, has no power and doesn't want to fight?

Haye was well within his rights to fight off the backfoot against Valuev and pick his shots. Wlad should have ****ing crushed Ibragmiov.

HBO said they would show an Adamek/K2 fight as well. They were sick of going to Germany and knowing the outcome before the fight. Haye talks a lot, if it was any other opponent who talked as much with all that disrepect. Hbo would be interested aswell.

Haye made his name by using the Klitschko's, no one (bar real boxing fans) had ever heard of the guy before.

Wlad was on my 'favourite fighter' list before Wlad. If you look, you'll see far more pro-Wlad threads before I ever mention Haye, so unless this was some elaborate plan to discredit Wlad, going back years, you're talking out of your arse.

That works both ways. Nobody in Britain knows who Wlad is and Haye, because of his charisma, is now attracting more attention to Wlad. Wlad will not ever receive this amount of press in his entire career, nor will he make as much money.

Aside from that, Haye/Maccarinelli was a huge fight, as was Haye/Mormeck. You must have forgot both being heavily publicized.
