This may very well be true, but it makes no reference to the heads at HBO, Bob Arum, or anyone else that might actually have any knowledge on this issue, just Freddy Roach stating his opinion.
Correct. And lets face it, at the end of the day Clottey did his job. He did not come out with a victory. That's what HBO brass wanted anyway is an easy win for the Pacman and they got exactly the result they wanted. Imagine if somehow Manny and Floyd lose. What position does that put HBO in as far as attracting new subscribers to their network? And that's the goal afterall. Just what shape would their boxing program be in with 2 big upsets? They love guys like Clottey that lose fights and don't interupt the flow of their cashcows.
