    Nobody wants to pay to see a repeat of Klitschko/Ibragimov. Now, it's up to Wladimir to make a statement by imposing his will and a spectacular KO on his WBA counterpart.

    And David Haye is? :lol::rofl

    I would imagine about the same amount of people in Germany and the USA know who Haye & Chagaev are.

    Haye is virtually unknown outside of the UK except to hardcore Boxing fans.

    @Axe Man

    What are you smoking? The same **** like your boy David Haye? Haye pulls out and now Booth said, Wlad do the right thing to move on. Wlad waste a half of the year waiting for Haye.

    The fans in germany wants to see Wladimir in the ring and the Schalke Arena is sold out with 60.000 people.

    Against whom is your boy fighting? No TV on the horizon, no money for David.

    Wlad gets his money for the fight RTL, his sponsors .... Wlad did not need Haye but Haye need the Klitschkos to make money.

    While that may have been true a while ago...Haye managed to create an aura of hype around the fight. People wanted to see who would win between the big trash talker and the humble champion.

    Ross Greenburg is a Jack-ass... But, according to Ross, it's a BUDGET issue.

    He says they just don't have the money to do 2 more Klitschko fights this year... so it basically comes down to a choice: Wlad/Chagaev now, OR Wlad/Vitali vs Haye/Arreola later on... they chose the latter.

    As crazy as it seems for HBO "King of boxing" to be passing on such a significant (if potentially boring) HW fight... it actually does make some sense:

    1) Nobody in the US (outside the hard-core fan) know's jack squat about Ruslan Chagaev. (They barely know Klitschko)

    2) The Chagaev fight definately has the potential to be another euro-trash, snooze-fest ala Klitschko/Ibragimov.

    3) The American audience would be way more interested in seeing a Klitschko vs either Haye or Arreola... and either guy makes for a more exciting fight IMO.

    Maybe if the geniuses at HBO didn't blow their budget on all the BULL**** FIGHTS they've already aired this year, they would'nt have to pass on important events like Kilt/Chagaev and/or great fights like Adamek/Johnson.

    Somebody get a grip over there for f--- sakes!!!

    Klitschko would be fighting if HAYE HADN'T PULLED OUT OF THE FIGHT WITH AN INJURY.

    But the rest of your post is spot on. And it's funny as hell. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

    Bottom line is Chagaev got beat by Ruiz, and got a gift. Even if you say it wasnt and Chagaev really won the fight it was close and he isnt much better then Ruiz if at all...Now having said that, who would be happy with wlad fighting Ruiz now??? Not many so then why would HBO be interested in that fight???

    The Adamek-Johnson thing was a different story, truth be told HBO wanted Johnson-Dawson, which to them is going to be a more viable fight. Right or wrong they made a business move, and after all they are in business. Its really not thier intent to make the fights that the HARDCORE fans want to see, they want to make fights that part time and casual fans would like to see...We hardcore fans will watch them all:good

    Haye is better than Rahman for sure, but Chag is more proven then Haye and would beat his ass IMO.
