this is according to fightnews.com. said america is not interested in seeing them fight unless it's against adamek or haye, and for now hbo is not in the heavyweight market.

It just reads like sour grapes from HBO.
Showtime should get in touch and get a contract with the Klitschkos.

I know this isn't what people want to hear but times are pretty tight for many households in the U.S. and the HW division isn't competitive right now. It just makes sense financial sense...

Where have you been? HBO haven't shown any of Wlad's fights for years, and only showed Vitali's fight vs Arreola.

i've noticed that but it became official that hbo is not in the klitchko biz.
how i can forget vitali-arreola, "vitali is a tough mother****er. **** it i'm coming back!" beat an undersized overmatched brian minto and looked like **** against adamek.

The brothers are effective but terrible to watch, period. HBO (or any other American station) wouldn't even pick up their fighters Chambers and Johnson fighting Wlad and Vitali.

The Ibragimov fight was the final straw. People were walking out, heckling, demanding their money back etc. Burt Sugar sums up today's crap here -

Screw HBO. Showtime will show it which is better then PPV like most fighter do these days. HBO is like the bully on the playground. Eventually the bully will get his ass kicked and showtime picking up the Wlad-Povetkin fight is the first punch

Actually there was a ton of things that went on behind the scene. There were a lot of people let go at HBO and things changed

Good move by HBO, it is smarter to show 140-154 bouts because they are all possible opponents for Mayweather and Pacquiao, the two biggest draws. 168-175 is also hot because is it STACKED and Bute Dirrell and Ward have mainstream potential, where again, any bout in the division can be seen as a lead-in to a showcase bout with an American/Canadian star.

Haye, Adamek and the Klits are the only important names in the division, and only a bout between the four of them is worthy of a major TV date.
