I love the Face Off series, they are a welcome addition to a big fight build up.

Only problem, Max Kellerman. Being British I don't know many American presenters who could replace him, but if we are talking about inside boxing? I'd love to see Hopkins in the chair.

The man commands instant respect, & I'm pretty sure he'd ask proper questions. Not the same old **** Kellerman asks every time.

The only problem I could see with Hopkins is:
    A) He does ramble a bit
    B) He loves to talk about himself

If he could rain that in, he'd be gold.

    Thoughts?

    They need Hopkins.

Hopkins is the ultimate instigator. Remember how he was in the ring with Mosley after Mayweather-Marquez saying, "We want to see a fight!"

I would like Merchant to get the gig so it's 30 minutes long instead of just 10-15 minutes.

Those are both pretty big problems though in this kind of format. Hopkins would just start talking about how he would beat both of the guys doing the Face Off and how they're not as special as him. I mean it would be funny, but I could just easily see it as turning into the Face Off participants vs. Hopkins rather than against each other.

Hopkins a G! Hell yeah, he'd turn that series into something truly special!

If B Hop was the mediator, Floyd would probably get into it with him instead of Ortiz

The problem with Kellerman is that he doesn't bring up boxing topics. He allows face off to be some kind of psychological warfare thing, rather than talk about tactics, skills, strengths and weaknesses.

I understand they have to hype the fight to clueless, casual boxing fans but whenever Kellerman opens his mouth in the opener to the face offs I already feel like turning off.

Kellerman does what he's told to do, he's nothing but a suit, this face off **** is heavily edited as well.
