    We all have said in this thread that Paulie didn't look good. But I have to say Ricky looked VERY good in there. Used the jab, he was fast and strong and actually had very good head movement and slipped punches! The last one impressed me. Seems that Mayweather sr. DID improve Hatton, props to both of them.

    Btw Paulie was very classy in defeat. He gave Hatton all the credit, he just complained that "he's better than being stopped", and I think he's right. He said: "I was a lot more hurt in the Cotto fight and nobody stopped that. I know I was behind in the fight, I take nothing away from Ricky, but that is a KO loss in my record and I'm better than being stopped". Props to him too.

    Yeah Paulie's only loud about his own abilities. I've honestly never heard him seriously disrespect anyone or cross the line. He was the same way after the Cotto fight and it probably did a alot for his career.

    I thought for sure Malignaggi would be allowed to fight the full 12.... no way was he gonna win this fight, but McGirt should have had the decency to allow Paulie to go out on his own terms, his shield, if you will. Oh well, great fight, good to see Hatton back in old form.
