Wow. Talk about a stacked poll - Pac's at the top spot and, when your eye scrolls down, you immediately see Slappy. Manny must be getting something like 130% on their poll.

If it was the ten year period from 1995-2005, then I would have said Hopkins.

But since we're talking about 2000-2009, then I would say Pacman.

 

Makes me laugh, Calzaghe gets mentioned by almost every single astute boxing commentator as one of the very best of this era and you get people who instantly want to rain on his parade.

Just for that, I voted for him.

 

Maybe because he doesn't deserve to be there?

...... public polls enable you to do that, these ridiculous hidden polls will have false results as posters can easily vote for their favourite of the lot rather than the guy they actually believe deserves it.... but we`ve been thru this, Im not voting on anymore hidden polls & Im done giving you advice on why public polls are better.

 

You voted for him because you are his biggest dick rider on ESB and somehow manage to bring his name into every post you make, even in threads that have absolutely **** all to do with him.

 

VK was inactive for too much of the decade. Plus the heavyweight division has been weak since LL retired. You can't blame VK for that, but when considering a fighter of the decade, the quality of opposition is always a factor. VK is not even in this discussion.

When you take Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and Pacman - Barrera went 2-4, while Pac went 5-1-1. So while Barrera is a sure fire HOFer, he's not the fighter of the decade.

Thats because your a ****, Vitali should be seen nowhere near a FOTD poll & Barrera had a good bit of his career before 2000 & was well past prime by the time he fought Marquez which was in 2007.
