Did you hear him last night? When Paulie's corner threw in the towel he kept saying:

"It was the right thing to do"

What kind of ****ing man are you? Someone throws in the towel and you agree? That ****ing kid wanted to keep going, if you have a pair of balls in you're underwear right now you'll agree with me that Lennox should have complained rather than agreeing to the stupid call. If i was Paulie I would have punched that *** in the teeth for throwing in the towel, and If I where Lennox I would have bitched up a storm about that. If you're a real ****ing man you know that the call was bull**** and *****. **** Lennox Lewis, get him off the camera, get him off the mic. HBO fire this guy, he dosen't even know that he's alive anymore.

Can't you be relative a little bit? Why Paulie should get hit on the head for two rounds when it's sure he will not win. Health first.

I understand the point and in I would be angry too if I was in this situation, but life is fragile man.

Tell me sir, was Paulie going to win? Did he have the firepower to come back from losing every round after the 2nd or whatever?

What Buddy McGirt did was right to me, he knew he wasnt gonna ice Hatton, and all the last round would have done is that much more damage, and risked him being REALLY stopped.

I agree with what Lennox said.

Paulie was a man in survival mode from round 4 onwards

Hes right it was the right thing to do.Paulie didnt intend on throwing punches just hold for his life.No point in taking any unneccassary punishment when he had 0 chance to win the fight.

No he wasn't, he was actually gonna loose brutally. Once you become a boxer, you make a deal with yourself, "I know I'm gonna get ****ed up, maybe I'll die in the ring...maybe not." Boxing is a sport for men, not little pussies, that's why I have all the respect in the world for these men. Its not Paulies fault, I'm not blaming him, I blame his corner. **** you're towel, shove it up your ass. The kid is in tip top shape, yea I know, who knows whats going on internally, but again it goes back to the deal. You fight to the end man, unless of course you tell you're corner you know something is really wrong with you, because you're brain would tell you whats going on.

Which is why I'm shocked that Lennox agreed with the call, what kind of fighter are you?

Paulie had no intention of fighting. He was simply holding on for dear life and still eating leather. His goal wasn't to win, but rather to survive. That can't happen. McGirt saw that his fighter was no longet trying to win and didn't want to see him take anymore unneccesary punishment. Paulie could've finished, but there was no point to letting that fight continue.

Obviously you respect Paulie a lot. Screw his health and brain...he's a professional boxer..he should fight to the death! Clearly his corner who doesn't respect him or care about him in the slightest threw in the towel not to protect him, but to publicly humiliate him. Fighters are never too courageous for their own good. Holyfields back...Hopefully Ali gets his crap together and comes back like a "real man"!

It's safe to say that Malignaggi's trainer, Buddy McGuirt who is himself a former multi-time world champion - knows better when to throw in the towel for his fighter than do a host of keyboard warriors.

Mcgirt is always stopping fights early. He is the last person a fighter should want in his corner.

Boxing has gotten WAY too wimpy. Trainers toss in towels for no apparent reason, refs stop fights WAY too quickly.

What happened to the old days when boxing people were MEN??

And boxing fans?? Some of them are even worse, they sound like a bunch of wooseys actually applauding crap like this.

Listen, there's one thing about looking into you're fighters eyes and seeing the pain and seeing them get mangled and destroyed against the ropes and seeing blood trickle down they're face. Seeing teeth fly, seeing them crumble. Paulie was crumbling, he was bleeding, but he wasn't really in the state of pain where you would have to throw the towel in. He was still moving and he was still trying, throwing and landing punches. Even if all of them wheren't landing. I understand how yes you can get ****ed up real bad, and no I'm not saying fight to the death. But you fight until you literally can't get up. That's what a boxer is to me. Did you see how Paulie reacted when his trainer threw the towel in? He was more energized then he was during the fight.

I'm not a Paulie fan boy or anything, but I just wanted to see a fair scrap, and it got cut short by a stupid call. He was alive and well, the dude was moving and fighting back, no need for a towel, I don't give a **** what some of you say, its bull****. That's like saying "They should have thrown in the towel during the ninth round of the Gatti-Ward I fight."

Get the **** out of here.
