Malignaggi was getting the snot beat pout of him he wasnt firing anything back, McGirt told him between rounds either try and fire something back or i'll stop the fight. He didnt so the fight was stopped.

You answered yourself in your own post. People paid to see a fight. Paulie wasn't fighting. You think the paying fane cares that a guy wants to hug his way to a 12 rnd ass kicking? Your post about being able to take a beating is just uterly stupid. That is not a boxer. What that means is your ass don't belong in the ring. Name one fighter who have come back from an ass kicking to be come great since you post this as a trait of great boxers.

It is becoming wimpy.

The other day I was watching a fight between two locals on TV.

Fighter A gets dropped with the 3rd or 4th punch of the fight, a left thrown by fighter B.
Fighter A stumbles and falls, but is up quickly with no harm done. Fighter A's corner chucks in the towel.
This is literally within the first 40 seconds of the fight!

The worst part is the ref didn't see the towel immediately and fighter A was holding his own in there after the knockdown.

Alright first thing I gotta say, would you people SHUT THE **** UP with the whole "keyboard warriors" thing. When we speak about fighters being ***** and not having balls, we speak in terms of them not having balls in comparison to other boxers, so don't go ahead saying "wow ok three time Heavyweight champ, why don't you get in the ring for a couple of rounds!?". How about you go **** yourself? How about Larry Merchant, Jim Lampley, Max Kellerman, and Harold Lederman? How about all of the judges? Should they get in the ring to judge a boxing match? No, because you know why? They're good at spectating the sport of boxing, thats why they have there jobs. Why are we all gathered here on ESB? To talk about boxing and to talk about the boxers, thats why. If you can't take harsh critisizm on you're favorite boxer, then stop blowing him and admit certain things. Admit that Lennox Lewis is a dick, because I know that some of you have to have a brain in you're head!

Lennox to me can't even hang with the animals from the 60's and 70's, why people blow him on this forum so much is beyond me, but if thats what you wanna think, then by all means go right ahead. The 90's sucked for the heavyweights, it was the spriraling downfall that led to what we have today. Fat Russian turds, and fat Californian raisin look a like's. So in my book, Lennox is a nobody, but thats just my opinion.

Now to Paulie. I pretty much said all I can say about his corner, and how they ****ed the fight up. Do you not understand how important it is to go the distance in a fight? Even if you lose? It shows you can hang, and yea, you have some work to do. But it's all good because I went the distance with him, I went the distance with Ricky Hatton, one of the baddest mother ****ers in boxing. I just don't know anymore, is everyone a *****? Is everyone so scared that someone is gonna get hurt? No ****, its boxing! You do it for pride, money, and whatever comes a long with it. Jesus Chirst, the guys back in the day did it just to support they're families. Fighting fifteen times a year, just to keep up. Now its "oh I need acupuncture, oh I need this amount of money, oh my vagina hurts, oh its my period". Suck a dick, everythings becoming ***** now, and I'm sick of it., and I hope I'm not alone because if so, its bad, real bad. :-(
