Arroyo gave a nice account of himself. Good effort from the unheralded challenger.

Saw an article with HBO talking about having him headline and the two opponents mentioned were Estrada and Inoue. Ioka would be nice too but if he fights Estrada again then moves up i'm okay with it.

Chocolito is sloppy and overreliant on his power, a top p4p fighter does take all the punches and clean shots chocolito just took. Put him in with a guy with power and he'd get KO'd, if that's his style then he may as well be a typical face first flat footed brawler. The style of fighter Floyd (the previous p4p) gets accused of cherrypicking

I wouldn't call Chocolatito number one p4p tbh, but he is top 3 for sure.

Yeah I expected Arroyo to have enough power to hurt him if he landed clean, which he did.

He needs to challenge GGG at catchweights. Meet at 140 or something.

He fought like a man, unlike his punk ass brother McJoe who was fouling Villanueva left and right, and fought an incredibly dirty ass fight, and was gifted the decision.

Scorecards are a bit harsh, imo. I thought Arroyo shaded a couple of rounds at least. Still, Gonzalez had good moments in all 12 rounds.
