JSK had more success upstairs that round and landed just about as many clean shots as Kamegai. I gave him the edge in the 5th. Kamegai still 4-1, though.

In play now has Kamegai 1/12 and 10/11 to stop JSK, JSK is 8/1, 16/1 to win by either decision or TKO/KO

    Round 6

Kamegai landing one twos, hard thudding shots, hooking to the body JSK seemed hurt on several different occasions in that round, Kamegai took his foot off the gas late, but JSK didn't capitalize.

    Kamegai 10-9

5-1 Kamegai. JSK starting to make some clean contact but Yoshihiro landed bigger shots.

    Round 7

Kamegai hurts JSK to the body badly, JSK doubles over and holds for dear life, Kamegai digging hard upperuts to the body. JSK rallies and lands a few good overhands but nowhere near enough to edge the round.

    Kamegai 10-9

Round 7 was a hell of a round. JSK looked done, but then came back strong and had his best stretch of the fight. Still didn't win the round.

You stfu brook a ww did expose him and had he been a natural mw he would have beat him. If GGG moves up to fight a bigger man like Brook did tonight degale will give him that work.

And that is all she wrote. Can't fault the corner for that. JSK was done.

    Round 8

Kamegai hurts JSK to the body, he's hurt bad, he's holding, Reiss breaks them up, Kamegai digs to the body again, down goes Soto Karass, he makes it up barely, Kamegai goes back to work JSK just trying to survive, he makes it to the bell barely.

    Kamegai 10-8

Soto-Karass' corner pulls him out. RTD8
