I'm one of the biggest ggg fans ever and reverse the role and I wouldn't say **** about any of those shots. I would've been accepting of my fighter meeting a better fighter in that ring.

He was out before the last right grazed him. Hell, he was out before the left prior to the last right landed.

All fighters will lose, at some point. That's just how it is at the very top level

Those two clowns are made for each other. We just have to deal with them for as long as hbo doesn't have a **** about us, the fans

Official weight is at the weigh-in when they're making weight.

Unofficial is when the fighters weigh-in for the Network's to decide who's got a weight Advantage or size advantage

They get weighed on the same damn scale ffs

    What Made him look amateurish???
To me, he looked good, ready and dangerous prior to getting hurt

That first right upper at the beginning of round 2 ends careers. Dude tried to weather the storm but ggg wouldn't let him.

That right was vicious, that round had like 5 chin ruining shots landed. Vanes showed HE AS tough as they come

Unfortunately for Vanes, that sequence would make for a great gif. We can see he is fighting to stay conscious... he's almost got his marbles back but G just keeps unleashing shot after shot on him and we see Vanes finally crumble. That's a sick sequence.

Golovkin nearly always gives the first round away to see what the other guy has got. He soaks up the information, and then its to business. Even when he was fighting total scrubs he often did this. He never just went rushing in. A very cerebral fighter.

Agree with Staminakills and Thesmokingm. Vanes is one TOUGH sob. He took about 3-4 shots that would have crumpled other dudes. Golovkin knocked down Wade, Monroe and Jacobs with lesser punches. Vanes was even trying to get up after that; I believe that he might have made it if he'd really tried, but to what end? He was gonna get himself put into traction if he did.

Don't try to candy coat that last shot! Graze? That shot tweaked his neck. But you're not biased. LOL I will, however, agree that poor ol Vanes was out, I can't even say it was a dirty shot. Just playing devil's advocate and I don't see G fans being as quite about that shot if it were landed on G. I could be wrong, but I've been visiting this site for 13 years and I can tell you, fanboys have acting like someone sh!t in their sugar bowl for a lot less.

In fairness, I was responding to a post that described the uppercut as "stunning" Canelo.

He turned away from it at the last second. It didn't land hard, or flush. It was partly slipped, and the glove partly grazed off his face as he turned away, but I recognized that he was partly hit by it too. It may have tweaked his neck because he was turning away from it, but it certainly didn't stun him.

LOL I was responding to the last shot G landed when Vanes was down or close to being down.

I do have a clear agenda against many fighters, but I'm not projecting it onto you, because unlike you, I'm open and honest about it, and have no need to.

Bro, more fighters end up doing that on accident and don’t get DQ’d more than ones who do.

Stop starting fires for no reason.
