On one aspect I agree with you but on the other hand who else is there that has the things that Chavez has? He's a former world champ (lets not go into how he got the belt), brings more fame than the rest, money and the style would be ideal for Froch. Plus he will probably come in bigger than Froch anyway so potentially a challenge.

GGG is probably the biggest test for him but not worth it yet compared to the reward.

Froch vs. Kessler III - Froch a slight favorite.
Froch vs. Chavez Jr. - Froch a heavy favorite.
Froch vs. Ward II - Froch a massive underdog.
    Froch vs. Golovkin - 50-50.

I will place heavy v cash on Chavez anyday if he is a "heavy" underdog with Froch.I still don't buy into the Froch madness.
GGG will pulverise Froch and Ward easily outpoints him-again.

If you're going to flush it down the drain, can you just paypal me?

What, the sort of which he is himself the main purveyor? The "best in Britain since Lewis" crap? So you shouldn't; nor do I. The Chavez Jr. madness, on the other hand, seems to have elicited in you a naive "shut up and take my money" response... :think

Chavez is really quite bad. Take away the one big thing he usually takes into high-level matches - his size & strength advantage - and he is left with very little. Froch has too solid a chin for Chavez to knock him out with power we can only imagine will lose a bit at the higher weight. Do you reckon Chavez will outbox him?

Would anyone really prefer to see Froch vs. Chavez Jr. to Froch vs. Kessler III? :huh

I mean, I suppose as his fan if you're wanting the assurance of a dominant Froch showcase victory then fair enough with that choice - but if you'd rather him continue to increase his respectability & legacy you'd have to see the greater potential despite the greater risk in going up 2-1 in the Kessler series. Even if he loses, it's sure to be another classic...whereas Froch vs. Chavez will simply be a very good 168lber thumping on an overachieving large 160lber with very little skill and prone to face-blocking.

Fighting Kessler next is a no go for me. Kess needs to heal up and get a fight with someone else to get back in the winning column.

Chavez??? who?? let that idiot Ward have another uneventful fight with him. that's his kind of style. Froch shouldn't have any interest in that one.

don't think the Ward fight will happen next.

so that leaves GGG. IF, he beats Macklin. yeah, i'd very much be up for that one. lets do it.

I have no interest in kessler 3 or ward 2, chavez seems to have a solid chin all be it pretty limited, we'll find more out about ggg after macklin, I think he's starting to get hyped over here and with the right promotion it could be a big one

Froch would bash the granny out of Chavez I think its a complete mismatch.
Better fights would be ; Groves vs froch or degale. I think both Degale and Groves are better than Chavez does any one else agree?

    cool. :good

if it's Degale or Groves, then i'd consider that to be a big fight. it definitely would catch the public interest.

if it's some no mark (which i really can't see happening) then i really can't see the purpose of it. Froch hasn't got much time left, he doesn't need to be wasting it with pointless matches. but we'll see.
