It was the right thing to do. People are sick and tired a wlad taking the easy fights. You can bet your ass the nuthuggers are going to try to say that Chagaev is the second coming of Ali. I'm damn glad HBO didn't waste there money of wlad. Chagaev sucks and he should not be getting a title shot. Wlad has ripped off heavyweight boxing for yet another year.
Well it does say something about the lack of popularity both men have in their favor. And it kinda tells you who out of the 3 is the most popular, and HBO's thinks its David Haye.
Chagaev is a harder fight than Haye. It doesn't take the second coming of Ali to be better than David Haye. You Haye fans have taken it too far. Haye is nowhere near Ali's level
I'm your biggest fan Derrick, but I hope they still choose to broadcast the fight because the guy is (sort-of) a title holder.
The head of HBO's fight booking is Boxing-Knowledge Challenged. He is a Sweet Science Mental Midget...it is because of him that HBO's fights have been on the slide and complete and utter crap over the last few years.
you now have no credibility. you have no common sense. your desire to see wlad fight haye was purely emotional. Common sense indicates that haye (1) sucks and (2) didn't even deserve a title shot to begin with.
Something seems to be really wrong with your brain. You are cursing Wlad and Chagaev for figuring out in a unification fight?
You are right derrick I mean it will probably be shown on ESPN now where it reaches over 100 million homes in the States compared to the 15 million HBO has. More people will be able to see the fight on ESPN I don't think that is a bad thing.
HBO should always take a stand and stop showing PPV's . . . they are doing the boxing public a big favor. :yep :good
No, it is a bad thing. When boxing gives people a good fight, then it's a good thing. But when millions of Americans see Klitschko/Ibragimov II, then it only hurts boxing.
