I mean yeah, prolly so, AND tbh, even though I think a Haye win would have been a good ride, Wlad was prolly gonna KO2 Haye (WITH A JAByep). But I DON"T GIVE A ****!! I wanted to see the fight, BAD!!
Good stuff, Cobbler!:good Haye is about the right size of most GREAT HW's, just Wlad and Vitali are just SO HUGE!!!
As someone who remembers Big George winning the gold medal in 1968 it's pretty amazing that people think of him as a "90s fighter". He was a 70s heavy who didn't need a time machine to prove how amazing that era was.
I used Foreman as an example, he like Holyfield and Tyson, were the most popular fighters of the 90's and were the fighters that sold the most PPV wise. I really dont look at him as a 90's fighter either, but he did make big waves during this time period and even won the heavyweight belts in 1995.
WHo cares if wlad never fights on HBO again. He's boring as hell and fights bums so he want get hit on his glass chin. Chagaev also sucks big time. This fight will go the full boring 12 rounds with wlad jabbing all night because he is scared to death to get hit on the chin. Have fun nuthuggers.
Just ran a search for "Klitschko" through Google News and came up with an article stating that according to "sources close to the situation", there's a strong possibility that Wlad-Chagaev is headed for ESPN Classic. Regular ESPN would be better exposure, but I'll take anything. :good
HBO is an American cable Company they got burned when Klit stunk out the hall fighting that Barney Rubble lookalike, and now you want Chagaev? this fight quickens no pulses around here so lets save that money and get a better fight down the road. Good call HBO.
Klitschko haters do not want anyone to see Vlad win fights. HBO just shot themselves in the foot. Haye did nothing to earn a shot at the title. He was not mandatory, not at all. Chagaev earned his title shot. Vitali and Vlad always sell out. Vitali sold out at MSG during a huge snowstorm.
Vitali also had one of the lowest PPV Heavyweight fights of all time when he fought Danny Williams in November or December of 04.
