    From Kevin Iole's Twitter...

Wow. What a nice gesture. I'm pretty sure I read a Nick Charles interview recently where he said one of his final wishes was to call another bout.

Holy ****. I was wondering about his health just the other day.

Hopefully he's looking OK. That last appearance on Showtime was a bit of a suckerpunch to the gut. :verysad

Those cures dont work with everybody it depends on the case and what type of cancer it is and they dont assure that the ****er doesnt come back some years down the road not only that but some of those so called cures are almost worse than the disease.

But technically you are right theres cures for cancer but we need better ones.

Sad that Nick is losing his battle to cancer but I really glad he gets his wish to broadcast one more fight. He was such a great team with Steve Farhood. Two guys who really made ShoBox a special program to watch, especially as late as 11:00. Always created a great vibe by coming in very well researched on some occasionally obscure up and coming fighters, very articulate, and never heard the man court needless controversy. He'll be sadly missed.
