    The Prince was far better he was also a lineal champion. Guys like Grant,Mitchell and Cooney were far worse.

    Good list.

    All 3 of those guys were getting pushed at around about the same time too, in fact Ortiz/Kirkland and Jacobs had a triple-header after being embarrassed in recent fights before.

    Hamed won all the titles in his division. Holds the record, I believe, for successful title defenses at featherweight. Was elected to the International Boxing Hall of Fame. And his sole (SINGULAR, ONLY) loss in his career was to a guy who will be a first ballot Hall of Famer himself.

    Hamed is an all-timer.

    Most defenses against weak oppositionn. Stepped up to the elite level as a favorite to win and got outboxed and made to look like a bobblehead for the world to see.

    Here’s a doozy for everyone. Remember when Prime Roy used to force Smoke Gainer on HBO? You could tell Lederman wasn’t too fond of the situation.

    HBO also seemed to be behind Manfredy.

    Yeah they did. I couldn’t stand Manfredy. I was so happy when Chico punished him. I just can’t stand fighters who never give their conqueror the credit he deserves. It’s one thing to lose a debatable decision, but when you get TKO’d on your feet, there’s no excuse.
