HBO Interested in 4 Man Middleweight Tournament

    Great idea and good for the sport. Have only champions compete but have fighters such as quillen on standby incase of injuries.

    Yeah he's doing a great job so far and the BW tournament was a better format. I hope they would have the losers fight on the undercard of the finals too.

    Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, Geale are the 4 i would want to see and are most deserving imo. Plus those 3 aren't guarenteed exposure otherwise while N'jikam vs Quillin will be on HBO too and if Quillin wins being a American with a paper title he's ensured HBO exposure and secured fights. As mentioned above they could be a alternate in case of injury and look at the list of contenders and prospects to keep them busy for one or two fights in the meantime.

    this would be awesome really bring out the best in the middle weights would like to make it a 6 man tournament tho :)

    I like the idea of this. Anything that creates better fights is good for boxing. Also good to see Geale's name getting mentioned. He has worked hard for his success and is only now starting to reap the benefits :good

    With the winners of the opening round fights facing eachother for the finals in a wild 3 man brawl. Interesting concept :D

    He's earned it but unfortunately he'll get stopped by either of the other 3 guys.

    I think so too and while i would slightly favor the other two over him he could possibly win those also.
