Now that Golden Boy/Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather are no longer involved, HBO is showing better fights.

Provodnikov-Alvarado last night was MUCH better than watching Floyd Mayweather run out the clock for another dull decision win.

Instead of boring fights that do not appeal to the casual fans (with defense-first pot-shotting feather-fists like Paulie Malignaggi and Floyd Mayweather) instead we're seeing aggressive, entertaining seek-and-destroy fighters such as Adonis Stevenson, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev and Ruslan Provodnikov. :good

Floyd attracting nearly 2 million viewers proves that he attracts the casuals.

You can tell Freedom ain't a real Boxing fan if he/she can't appreciate a complete performance against Canelo.

The media marketed that fight very well and got the public's interest, and it sold because of Canelo's popularity among Mexican-Americans.

But the people who watched Floyd run out the clock for another dull decision win won't buy the next one... :-((

While the people who saw and enjoyed Providnikov-Alvarado will come back to watch more HBO telecasts! :good

I don't think we'll ever see Mayweather lose. It's fucking insane.

Loads of Casual fans watch Mayweather. My bar was stacked after hours with people watching him against Canelo.
I convinced people to watch Wlad vs Povetkin . I wish i hadn't.

The media has hyped him up, but his fights are so boring that now the casual fans will stop buying his PPVs.

Now that people have exciting seek-and-destroy warriors such as Provodnikov, Stevenson, Lomachenko, Mikey Garcia, GGG, and Kovalev to see on HBO, why pay money to watch Floyd run out the clock for another dull decision win?
