I think it has come down to I only want to see a Klit fight Lesnar or Mir in a cage. Seriously can't they just find a Basketball player offer him a ton of money and train him to beat the Russians. I have never longed for a return of the cold war, but you know Regan or Kennedy would have made it a priority to find a man to drop these dorks. Fight each other for C's sakes. You know Vitali has wooped on Vlad all his life. Payback little bro style!

  3. Klitschko has a brother?

According to Crimson, HBO knows what they are doing.

Why do Jewish media executives hate white sports figures so much?

    Pretty bizarre.

I too am kinda pissed off HBO isn't picking this fight up, but I really don't blame them. If Wlad isn't pulling the numbers, then he should get the boot. HBO is running a business, and Wlad isn't putting asses in seats other than in Germany. America just don't follow the Klitschko's. Wlad's fighting style is not fan friendly.

Imagine the confusion if the brothers fought each other.

Bollocks. The fight starts at 10pm in Germany which is what time in the US?
Simple economics. It won't sell or be watched at that time.

Vitali's fight against Arreola drew one of HBOs highest ratings because it was properly promoted.

HBO is in the boxing business. It is the only sport they really broadcast. They need to invest in promoting the true heavyweight champion. Wlad.

You fools will thank HBO toward the end of the year when they have leftover money in their budget and can put on one more big card.

HBO will never make any money off of boxing if they don't try to cater to casual fans.

    It's not just America!

I remember the HBO fight of Brock vs Dr. Steel Hammer where Lennox Lewis kept calling Wlad, Vitali.

Bad. But his last fights on HBO were Thompson-Ibragimov-Rahman. Chagaev didn't get picked up either, and it didn't get good ratings on free ESPN.

A big part of it is that his fights are in Europe. They always get much worse ratings on tape delayed fights.

That wasn't Vitali drawing a huge viewing audience. The mexican-american population loves it's boxing, as well as it's fighters. HBO knew that fight would do well because of that very fact, thats why they chose that one to pick up.
