real reason is they did not want to go up against the NCAA Tournament head to head and I don't blame them. No fighter in History could out draw that.

Disgrace? It was one of the absolute best exhibitions on how a big man should fight, and against a top 3 HW contender.

    Solution to all of this

-more competition between networks (TNT and CBS broadcasting boxing matches).
-Less weight divisions (Boxing does not need a junior welterweight or junior lightweight division).

They've been showing Wlad's fights on HBO for years. If he was a money maker, they would be showing this fight. Dawson, Ortiz, and Kirkland are young fighters. If they're approaching their mid 30's and still aren't producing ratings, HBO will have them on a short lease.

I also find it amazing that a few people have insinuated that Wlad's fight isn't being shown because he's White. Wlad has been on HBO for like the past 9 years. Did HBO just all of a sudden figure out that he's White?

Dude, I actually follow boxing and get them confused on occasion. 99.5 percent of Americans can't tell them apart. 99.9 percent of the world can't and most of them don't care.

That being said if I don't find a "cheap" link online, I'll probably pay for the fight.

A bit of self-criticism is always healthy, I guess. Average americans have refused to acknowledge that poor Eastern Euros rule the division and so they have created, convinient, false justifications to discredit and ignore the division entirely.

Not really. They just find the Klit brothers boring as hell to watch. The fact that Wlad's 6'6 and half 245 pounds of muscle, yet he's timid to let the leather fly against guys a head shorter and alot less powerful than him. I think alot of people ask why? I personally watch him in hopes to see him knocked out again, but if I didn't hate or like him. He would probably be one of the last people I want to see fight.

I truly don't think american fans are against Wlad because he's of european descent. We never took a liking to Ruiz when he was champ, most of his fights weren't aired here. Bryd got a little more play, but it was usually because he was fighting name oppenents. Yet, I seen people boo him pretty heavily in fights as well. I think only Brewster was a fan favorite in america, his warrior mentality mixed with powerful hooks. I feel was enough to grab the public's attention.

In closing, Wlad's just not enertaining enough. His fighting stlye is too cautious for his size, and his personality is to bland. It's fighters like Haye, who can create hype. That will put people/fans by their tv. ****, both Klits knew this. Thats why they wanted a 3 fight deal with him so bad, cause his personality and fighting style would make people watch.

Well, it really depends. If Wlad isn't doing high numbers on HBO then you can't really blame HBO, especially, if Klitschko is overpricing himself. They can't blow their budget this year like they have in the past. (IE: Dawson-Tarver II, and Calzaghe-Jones PPV)

I do have a problem though with them showing Wlad fight Rahman, Thompson. Yet, they won't show the best American HW vs the best (or 2nd best) HW in the World.
