It'S a stupid move. this is the world hwt title, the most famous title in all of sports. you show it no matter what. HBO showed all those Roy Jones Jr. mismatches vs. a policeman and school teacher and dog catchers. Well Klitschko vs. Fast Eddie is a legit fight, Chambers is a full time boxer and #1 from the USA right now. This guy could pull off the upset, he has skills, is lefty, showing rapid improvement in results and conditioning.

For HBO to not show this is stupid. it discredits the entire sport and the hwt title. HBO should stand by the sport and televise it, even if it's a beatdown. The US networks presumably showed all the Ali and Tyson fights against bums like Wepner and Evanglistia. Why not show all Klitschko fights. it's a stupid move by HBO. and then they''ll show Berto vs. Malignaggi or Dawson vs. Glen Johnson III right?

fora US TV network to not televise a world hwt title fight involving a young American cotnender who has trained all his life for this is a shameful mistake. I'll say it again, HBO is stupid to do this and they are showing themselves to be losing even more credibility. F*** HBO, it's their loss.

    IT is pretty disappointing.
Wlad usually puts on better performances than PBF and usually always ends it with a KO so i dont get why they wouldnt show it.

Maybe they are getting ready to air Dawson vs Tarver 3 or something of that nature.... Im not saying that they dont put on good fights, obviously. What im saying is that out of all the complete **** they have put up, their not going to put up Wlad vs Chambers? a challenger whos at least going to bring more fight then any of wlads recent opponents since peter? the number one american heavyweight and for the heavyweight title?

    :-(

it's crazy. what message is HBO sending: we support boxing but we won't even show the world hwt champ vs. the #1 American challenger. but tune in for the featherweight title between an tasmanian and a cuban. dunce move, no wonder boxing has lost so much credibility.

Youu got Nazzim Richardson calling Wladimir Klitschko one of the greatest of all time, yet HBO wont show him. HBO sure has gone down the drain since the new guy took over. Noo dispespect to Steward, Lennox, Merchant and Lampley, they are great. Kellerman is getting better.

THAT is part of the reason they're not showing it. HBO have been very leery of showing Klitschko for a reason; the Ibragimov fight was well promoted, it was his chance to shine at the mecca of boxing, and the fight stunk the place out. If HBO show THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP and its a shitfest, it looks terrible on them and terrible on boxing.

Your right, I mean what about the poor people who rely on Klitschko matches to help with their insomnia?

This year will be different. Mosley - Berto was signed on regular HBO.
    Mayweather - Mosley
    Pacman - Clottey
    P.Williams - K.Cintron
    Marquez - Khan
    Pavlik - S.Martinez

And they have a lot more competitive fights they are planning. You got to understand, HBO has lost a ton of Money on Vlad fights. This Thomas Hauser put HBO on blast for wasting all the money they do. And some one at HBO was reading. But Hauser, if he really loves boxing needs to becareful...HBO keeps losing money ,getting low ratings and no subscriptions from boxing then they will get out of the boxing game. and put that money in the budget towards the next soprano's series, or the wire

LOL. Some of y'all are cold.

I actually don't understand why it's not on either. I mean, couldn't they at least put it on B.A.D. (no pun intended).

Yes, really stupid. This could be a very good fight, even though, I think Wlad will beat him, convincedly.

i agree, stupid for them not to air it when they have aired many mismatches in the past and this is a legit title fight.

If they think the fight's going to be boring (which is a fair assumption) then why should they televise it? Wouldn't they be better spending their money on a fight they think is going to be compelling viewing?

Just because HBO televised a bunch of mis-matches in the past, should they be obliged to keep making the same mistakes? I just don't understand that reasoning.

Wlad is a very good fighter. He's also very boring. If HBO are determined to show better fights than this, I say good luck to them.

The Klitschko-Ibragimov farce is still fresh in our minds.

    We don't need a replay.

Screw you nuthuggers. Just because you like to see your hero in these no risk fights does not mean everyone else does. People are sick of watching wlad in these no risk fights. Chambers is waaay to small for him and this fight should not take place. We want to see him get in there with someone that can expose his weak chin. Not a bunch of has been feather fist bums. HBO is doing the right thing. Maybe ESPN Classic will pick it up LOL
