Wlads only boring because nobody is in his league. The man stands back, and picks people apart. I find it interesting to watch honestly because: 1) I want to see how long these people can last. It's something to watch somebody get there heart taken out of them..As well as the punishment there face has taken. 2) You never know about Wlads chin.
Wlad actually paid them $20 to show the Austin fight. They'de have to cough up for, and promote, this fight. They can't risk another promotional farce now.
Throw in the Japanese announcers from Hasegawa's fights, and I think that fight night would give us the single greatest commentary of all time. :thumbsup
Yep. He is one of the two one-eyed men in the land of the blind. The planet has more skilled large sized athletes then ever before and yet none of the great talents are pursuing boxing. Nothing but "C" level athletes and/or completely out of shape bums in the heavyweight division (or smallish cruiser weights looking upward and attracted by the the lack of talent in the bigger men above). But, being the best of the worst is not impressive enough in a world where excellence is lauded. Thus, the bros remain virtually ignored by a country which absolutely worships at the altar of entertainment. Ignored in a world - more connected than ever before - where greatness (in so many varying endeavors) crosses borders instantaneously to be appreciated and revered by all - proving the bros obvious athletic irrelevance. Yep. Clear to everyone (except the athletically impaired). There are some real athletes in other professional sports with size who have it all. Yet these two relative mediocrities are the so-called heavyweight champs - such a pitiful joke - like having superstar stats because all the able bodied men are off fighting in a war. And, it still is predicated upon all of their opponents being smaller as well as crappy.
I don't need some internet dweeb telling me what to watch & what not to watch. HBO just saved me some money..................about $15 or $18 bucks a month.
................and I'll decide whether or not their shitty programming is worth my money. Fair enough.
Versus or ESPN will probably show the fight and you won't need to pay anything to see it either. What better way to get well known in the states...................Free boxing for the Heavyweight Championship of the World!!!
you aint a real boxing fan, hbo have some ****in awesome cards but you will unsubscribe just because the big gay isn't being showed?
the only thing discrediting the HW title is the HW champions we have now.. they are boring and suck so i dont blame HBO for not showing it.. nobody really wants to see it
