I agree, but vaargas was a champion and had 5 defenses of his title and the Trinidad fight was inevitable. Had Tito fought a clean fight things might have been different. I think vargas was ready, but just underestimated Trinidad's willingness to fight dirty.

Mungia gets whooped by Charlo, Hurd, Williams, Golovkin, Alvarez, etc. He still needs a couple more years of seasoning in my opinion.

I think he was ready to, but I do think making Trinidad become a year or two older while giving Vargas another year or two of maturity certainly would not have hurt

 

I totally agree. The Smith fight answered a lot of questions and it was an encouraging performance, but he definitely has to tighten up a few things.
