I'd like to think this is just a case of Eddie backing his guy, and not a case of him being a complete idiot. Since almost everyone who scored the fight gave it to Linares, even he must know Linares won, right?

 

Johnny Nelson talking sense "Linares won the fight, Luke done himself proud but if they fight again Campbell will be better but so will Linares"

So Nelson don't see Campbell beating Linares anytime soon.

Well his interview on Sky just now, he looked genuinely gutted and he sounded like he honestly believed it.

Sitting ringside is completely different from watching TV so he might change his mind if he watches it again.

 

Absolutely NOT to "Campbell could have won if you score it this way that way"

He CLEARLY lost this fight and anyone who is sane sees that.

 

Yeah Mitchell was a real pin head,seen a vid on YouTube about how many possible trannies or elite gender inverted things there are in boxing and honesty after seeing a few pics of how Male and females differ i.e. Sloping shoulders,smaller skulls ect I can well believe it,Paulie M is starting to Look very suspect and in his younger years he looked very odd and as we know had zero power.

 

Did you see the Parker vs Fury scores from earlier lol. I felt Parker won, but 118-110 from 2 judges was complete BS.

 

Had to check my round notes to check my scores. I think I've got this right. 115-112 Linares with the kd, same score as one judge.

Credit to Campbell, he did prove doubters wrong (myself included) about his chin and heart. I thought he boxed well and did make it close. Linares visibly took his foot off the gas though, unsure why. Shame we won’t see a rematch.

 

Yeah sounds like he got carried away with the comeback but it would of needed him to win the championship rounds to have a case no?

 

Poor old Eddie Hearn, Linares has skinned him and his boys 4 times now, Mitchell, Crolla x2 and Campbell.

If I was Hearn I wouldn't go anywhere near Linares again, it's getting a little bit embarrassing for him.

I scored it 6-6 with KD winning fight for Linares. To me round 1, and 11 were close and could of went either way. I thought Campbell had a very good stretch in the middle of the fight where he won 3-4 rounds in a row with his jab. He went to body well too. Good fight but you have to do more when you're the traveling fighter in the opponent's back yard. He lost the 10,12 - 11 he moved well and boxed he clearly thought he was up. I thought Linares won but that fight was razor close to me

 

Dude what is your obsessive hatred for Campbell? The guy doesn't have annoying bandwagoners, he actually doesn't get the credit he deserves. Linares won by experience, Campbell was wide and looked like a complete novice with those wide left hook in first 2, then he adjusted. Of course Linares will adjust and vary his attacks, angles, timing, instead of just plodding forward throwing right hands, but I don't think Linares is an easy pick here. It's close.
