10-9 Ioka; Kazuto working well off the jab and targeting the body early. McWilliams not throwing much and hitting air when he does.

20-18 Ioka; Kazuto fighting really well. Throwing a lot but staying accurate, making each punch count. Actually backing up Arroyo who's looking tentative in front of an accurate jab.

30-26 Ioka; It was a close ass round that I probably would have given to Arroyo but an Ioka right hand literally landed in the last second of the round drops Arroyo for the count.

Damn that was a good round for Arroyo until the last second knockdown I thought he won the 3rd until then.

 

I was about six seconds from writing 10-9 Arroyo for the 3rd, and then Ioka dropped him with a chopping right hand.

40-35 Ioka; Ioka basically outworked Arroyo in this round. Arroyo needs to up his workrate if he wants to make this fight competitive on the cards.

50-44 Ioka; Ioka constantly backing up Arroyo now. Arroyo has no answers to Ioka's methodical yet aggressive style. Arroyo manages to land a good right to end the round but a masterclass performance so far for Ioka.

60-53 Ioka; Ioka taking advantage of Arroyo always covering up when Ioka is on the attack. Ioka managing to back off and stay away from damage when Arroyo does open up and come forward.

I had forgotten that Ioka did a lot of things very well in the ring; move, circle, jab, punch in combination, and work the body. It seems his one year retirement hasn't diminished his ability to do any of those things.
