hbo keeps pretending pirog,golovin,strum,geale etc are not alive

    Martinez was once in a similar situation as Golovkin/Pirog. Non-english speaking fighter coming from europe. Won a title in a low profile bout, then brought in to lose vs Cintron, then again vs Williams, then Pavlik, and again with Williams. Sergio has never been a favorite son of the powers that be and has made it to the top despite them. Genna and Dimitry are destined to wait their turn like Sergio did, which still requires them to come to the US and fight some low profile fights.

    out of those guys u mentioned, none of them impress me. the only one i like is golovkin. he seems to be the real deal

    its not even about if martinez can beat those guys

    i like the guy, wonderful fighter
    but those guys are good too

    what is ****ing annoying is that hbo
    pretends those are not even around
    when all of them are better then chavez


    and yes strum would not be an easy fight for him or anyone

    when you fight 14-0 middleweights from japan sons of legends like ronald hearns who never beat a top 10 guy and duck your own countrymen in AA, it says alot about his character. sturm lost his balls after that junior middle who was 37 turned his lights outs
