I'm so disapointed that the Guzman-Cambell fight is on Showtime rather then HBO. In my opinion Showtime does not know how to broadcast Boxing well. At least compared to HBO, Last fight i saw on Showtime was Miranda-Abraham2 and i could'nt bare the fake tale of tape the subpar comintary or even the visuals. Needless to say i canceled Showtime and i think HBO should get all the major fights like tomms.

You may be correct as far as commentating goes but I think Showtime does fine.....As far as fights and quality of fights I think Showtime is taking a slight lead in my opinion...along with that they just show more quality fights in general than HBO does and more often

No way,Showtime is kicking some HBO ass, what the hell was up with that biased commentating at Cotto vs Margo? What channel had Castillo vs Corrales,Vazquez vs Marquez?HBO is living on their star fighters who put on boring shows and are trying to find some new exciting fighters(Bernabe Concepcion,Juan Manuel Lopez).SHO is beating HBO

HBO probably wouldn't broadcast Campbell-Guzman so you should be happy we have Showtime.

I agree that HBO's broadcasting may be a bit better, but I feel that Showtime has been showing and purchasing the better fights recently. That being said I don't really care what it's on as long as there are quality match-ups.

Al Bernstein is the best....a true boxing scholar.
Also, Showtime shows the card girls whereas HBO is too 'sophisticated' to show the hardworking little lovelies. I must criticize Showtime for not zooming in on the cootchie shots, however.

HBO is usually better because their production is backed with a much larger budget...sometimes tripling the budget of showtime.

That's also why all their fights are on PPV.

I like HBO but Showtime is better IMO.

Showtime has more entertaining and competitive fights.

Showtime often re-airs previous fights. HBO does not.

Showtime shows RING CARD GIRLS in between rounds. HBO does not.
