Yeah. The major Irish amateur stars are being coddled in the pros, in part because their styles aren't really as transition-ready as they may have seemed. Quigley has needed a lot of fine-tuning on the job considering what a beast he was in the unpaid ranks, as has Nevin to a much greater extent.

Prescott is circling and standing upright, cheating his body away from the southpaw jabs of Farmer with quick half-turns of his upper half. Farmer is feinting the jab and lobbing long left lead uppercuts into the body. Prescott is giving plenty of respect, hammering down with his left glove to bat away Farmer's quick right jab. Left hand by Farmer whistles up high and catches the unprotected head of Prescott, knocking him back a step. Farmer smells blood and moves in, throwing quick left hands into the chest after feinting right jabs from a southpaw Philly shell. A bit of showboating by Farmer, spinning his back fist in the air. Nothing coming back from Prescott.
